Description
Fyfield Cottages, located in Eastleach, is a detached house that was formerly two houses. It dates from the early to mid-17th century and is constructed of random rubble limestone with rubble chimneys that have been rebuilt in brick at the tops. The building features a stone slate roof and is two stories high.
The south front has two half gables and a varied arrangement of windows, including some timber casements with timber lintels. There are also two-light recessed cavetto mullioned casements in the gables. A central doorway with a timber lintel leads into the house, and there is a 20th-century door. Above the doorway, there is a dormer mounted on the gable eaves. The gable ends have chimneys. The interior has not been inspected.
