Description
Glebe House is an early 19th-century house located on School Hill in Stratton, Cirencester. It is constructed from coursed squared limestone and features a stone slate hipped roof with two stone axial stacks on gablets at the rear. The building has three storeys and a five-window range. The first floor has five 6/6-pane sash windows set in plain reveals with stone cills, while the second floor has five similar 3/6-pane sash windows. The ground floor includes two 6/6-pane sash windows and a central door with six flush panels topped by a decorative fanlight in a round-headed opening. The corners of the house are accentuated with flush quoins. The interior has not been inspected. There is a later 19th-century two-storey extension and a 20th-century extension at the rear.
