Description

The South East Barn at The Grange Farm is a barn dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof. The barn has a five-bay plan with a threshing floor located to the left of the center. On the south-west elevation, there are 20th-century double doors set within a projecting lean-to porch. The south-east elevation includes a gabled porch, which is flanked by a mid to late 19th-century lean-to on the left, covered with a corrugated iron roof. Inside, the barn has a collar-truss roof supported by butt purlins.
