Description
The Cottage is a mid-19th century building that has been slightly altered. It is a survivor of the Queen Anne style, typical of Cotswold architecture. The structure is 2½ storeys tall, built of coursed rubble with a hipped stone tile roof. On the north-west side, there are two gabled dormers, three windows, and two angled bays that were formerly topped with pitched roofs. Above the central door, there are arched windows with raised dressing. The south-east front is similar, but the windows have cambered heads, and the outer windows are wider, featuring three-light casements. The central doorway is complemented by small arched stair windows on the right side, and there is a kitchen extension with a large chimney to the right. The larder door includes split ventilation.
