Description

This is an 18th-century summer house, situated in the garden of Fosseway House and connected to the road by a boundary wall. The summer house is a two-storey tower constructed from coursed rubble with ashlar quoins. It features a crenellated parapet with crocketed finials. A flat string course runs at the impost level, and the first-floor window has been raised to create a four-centred arch label above it; it is a sash window with glazing bars. A modern lobby entrance has been added to the east, and a south-facing extension exists. A boundary wall, approximately 10 feet high and 15 yards long, links the summer house to the road and includes a doorway with a segmental head.
