Description
Kemble Mill is a large detached house that was originally built in the 17th century, with extensions likely added in the 18th and 20th centuries. The building features random coursed rubble stone and a stone slate roof, along with a large stone end stack that has offsets. It has an 'L'-shaped layout and stands two storeys high.
On the east side, there is a three-light stone mullion window with a square hoodmould on both the first and ground floors. The first-floor window has decorative leading, while the ground-floor window is longer and has a recessed door to the far right, which is a 20th-century addition. To the left, there are two-light casement windows with timber lintels on both floors. The rear wing has similar windows. The north end of the oldest section features a single stone-framed light to the right of the stack, which likely illuminates a newel stair. The interior is not accessible.
