Description
The Stables Garage, located 18 meters north of The Old Rectory in Great Rissington, is a stable block and garage dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof and features an 'L'-shaped plan. The building is mostly single-storey, but there is a low loft above the section currently used as a garage. The garage has two double doors with a plank pitching window positioned above the right-hand door. To the right, there is a single-storey stable block that includes plank and stable doors, slatted windows, and 2-light casement windows with glazing bars. This structure is included for its group value.
