Description
Old Manor House is a Grade II listed building located in Westington, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. The front of the house has likely been remodeled during this period and has been restored. It is constructed of rubble with a Cotswold stone roof and features ashlar end chimneys, one of which has a cornice. The building has two gabled dormers, along with two and three-light leaded casement windows. The central doorway is a Tudor arch style and has oak doors. The house is designed in an 'L' plan, with an additional Tudor arch door in the return. It was extended to the north in 1940 to include former offices, which have a jettied section with the inscription "In Fide Restitua (et) ornata MDMXL". Inside, the building is said to have a fireplace dated 1550, and the ground floor front room features a fireplace with a wooden lintel.
