Description
No. 27 Long Street is a house in a terrace, dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone on a cemented plinth, with brick quoins on the upper storey and a tiled roof. The building is a single range with three storeys and features two windows, which are triple sashes with margin lights in the centre sash, set beneath concrete lintels.
On the ground floor, there is a boarded door to the right, which is set in a shallow reveal and has a wide plain stone architrave, along with a rectangular fanlight that has a wooden mullion. To the left, there is a shop front from the 19th century, characterized by reeded panelled pilasters and a half-glazed door to the right. The second floor has four-pane sashes, also with brick quoins and concrete lintels.
