Description
This is an early 18th-century chest tomb made of limestone, located about 15 meters southeast of the southeast corner of the chancel in the churchyard of the Church of St. Kenelm. The tomb features a flat top with cyma moulded capping and a partially obscured plinth. It has lyre ends adorned with elaborate cartouche panels, and the sides include inscription panels. The north side displays flanking figures and drapery festoons, while the south side features cherubs and garlands. Unfortunately, all inscriptions are now obliterated. The northeast corner is damaged, and the entire structure is eroding badly on top as of the survey conducted in September 1984.
