Description
The Rose family monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, approximately 10 meters east of the chancel. It dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and is made of limestone. The west end features an inscription dedicated to Joseph, the son of James and Elizabeth Rose, who died in 1821. The tomb has a moulded plinth and fluted marginal panels surrounding the inscriptions on the sides, which were once highlighted in black but are now only partially legible. The monument is topped with a moulded capping, a stepped upper capping, and a hipped upper capping stone.
