Description

The Brookside Hotel is an early 19th-century building with a later addition on the left side. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a Cotswold stone roof, along with a first-floor band. The hotel is two storeys high and has four windows, presenting a double-fronted appearance with a bay window added to the left. All windows are sashes with glazing bars, except for a modern small-paned row to the right of the door. The entrance features a six-panel door with a rectangular light above it. The steeply pitched roof has stone verges and three ashlar ridge stacks. The building occupies an important position.
