Description
Thames Croft is a house located at the end of St John's Street in Lechlade, originally built as several cottages in the early 18th century. The building is constructed of rubble stone, with coursed stone at the east end and quoins, topped by a stone slate roof and featuring brick stacks at the ends. It is a long single range with rear extensions and stands two storeys tall.
The façade includes four windows: two 9-pane sash windows on the left and two paired wooden casements on the right, all with timber lintels. On the ground floor, there are four 9-pane sashes, also with timber lintels, and a door with four bolection-moulded panels located between the first and second windows from the left. The third and fourth windows are situated in former doorways that are close together, with the original flanking windows blocked but retaining their timber lintels. Additionally, several ground floor windows feature brick quoins on one side.
