Description

Queen Anne's Monument is a commemorative column built in 1741. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a Roman Doric design, standing approximately 50 feet high on a square plinth, topped with a statue of Queen Anne. The monument is aligned with Cirencester House and the tower of the Parish Church of St John the Baptist, and it marks the end of one of the views from the Seven Rides.
