Description

The dovecote located to the south of the Manor House is likely from the 15th century, but more probably dates to the 18th century. It was restored by Sir Guy Dawber in 1890 and again in 1919. The structure is circular and built from coursed dry-stone rubble, topped with a conical roof made of stone slate. Inside, it retains nesting boxes and an 18th-century truss supporting the roof. An additional floor has been inserted.
