Description
This is a mid-19th century terrace of two buildings, formerly known as the Grasshopper and Hillview. Constructed of rubble, the building features a hipped slate roof and four chimneys. It has a fenestration pattern of one, two, two, and one window bays, predominantly featuring glazing bar sash windows set within raised surrounds with decorative keys. The ground floor includes two angled shop bays and an angled bay window. A gabled projection to the right includes a two-storey angled bay. A blank panel is present in the centre of the first floor. The building is included on the list only for its contribution to the wider group value of the area. The property originally had cast and wrought iron gate piers with scrollwork detailing, and a now missing overthrow.
