Description

Leysgarth, formerly known as Nos 1 and 2 Chipping House Cottages, is a 17th-century building that has been extensively modernised, including raising the eaves. It now stands at two storeys and is constructed of rubble with an imitation Cotswold stone roof made of "Poradstone." The building features two ashlar end chimneys and three gables, two of which are for half-dormers. On the first floor, there are two new windows, while the ground floor has three mullioned windows, each with three and four lights and drips. To the left, there is a Tudor arch doorway, and to the right, a door with a wooden lintel. The interior has been altered.
