Description
Wayside Cross is a medieval wayside cross that marks a spring, which is said to be a Holy Well. It likely dates from the late 14th century or early 15th century. The cross is made of ashlar and features three worn steps leading up to a large plinth with chamfered corners. The plain shaft was added in 1864, and the finial cross was taken from the west gable of the church in 1888.
