Description

Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid- to late 17th century, with extensions added in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble, with the original 17th-century portion featuring a chamfered plinth and ashlar quoins, and a Cotswold stone roof. The building is in three parts. The right-hand section is the original 17th-century part, two storeys high with an attic lit by a gabled dormer window. It has two small windows on the first floor with chamfered mullions in rebated surrounds, topped with labels. The ground floor has a four-light king-mullion window and a 19th-century door to the left. A two-bay, two-storey 19th-century extension is situated to the left, featuring sash windows with single vertical glazing bars. Further to the left again a further one-and-a-half storey extension has been added. A reset 16th-century arch-headed window is located to the rear, visible from a late 20th-century doorway. Inside, the ground floor room on the right-hand side has a cambered wooden lintel over a wide fireplace.
