Description
Glebe Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that was altered in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a Cotswold stone roof. The building is arranged in an L-shape. It has two gables projecting from a central entrance bay, and features cambered head openings with three-light casement windows, except for a smaller window above the doorway. The south return elevation has a 1:2 bay arrangement, with timber lintels and windows. The interior includes a wide flagged throughpassage. The farmhouse contributes significantly to the character of the village, representing a traditional Cotswold farm adapted to 19th-century proportions.
