Description

This barn, originally likely a field barn known as Rushmoor Barn, was constructed around 1840. It is built of rubble stone with a stone slate roof. The barn features two slightly off-centre, projecting hipped cart entries with a ball finial. A timber lintel covers a pair of double timber doors on the west side, and a smaller doorway with a timber lintel is located on the left-hand return. Two tiers of slit vents are present, along with a square pitch hole in the north gable end, and a doorway on the south side. The barn consists of eight bays, with tie beam trusses additionally supported by a first floor on the south side.
