Description
New Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early to mid-19th century. It features coursed squared and dressed limestone with a slate roof and limestone gable coping. The building has ashlar and artificial stone stacks. The main structure has an extension at the rear left and another set back from the facade on the right. The symmetrical facade is two storeys high with an attic, which is lit by a segmental-headed window within a central gabled bay that slightly projects from the facade. There is a band below the attic window and outlining the gable. The facade has a 1:1:1 window arrangement, all of which are 20th-century aluminium casements. The central entrance has a part-glazed front door, which was formerly a six-panelled door, and the facade curves down slightly to either side of it. The flat gable coping is complemented by an ashlar stack with a moulded cap and skirting on the right gable end, while the left gable end features an artificial stone stack. The interior has not been inspected, but some shutters remain.
