Description

This is a probably late 18th-century building with associated front garden walls to the south and east. The building is constructed of rubble and has a slate roof with coped verges and end chimneys, the right-hand chimney being ashlar with a moulded capping. It has two gabled dormers and two windows on the first floor, each with two lights and retaining stone mullions. A central door features two arched panels, some of which are glazed. The building occupies an important and prominent position, projecting into the High Street and enclosed to the road on its south and east sides by restored stone rubble walls.
