Description
This building is a storehouse located to the northeast of Aylesworth House, dating from the mid-19th century. It is a single-storey structure built over a drainage channel, constructed from coursed rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. The roof is slate with coped verges, and there are steps leading up to the outer doorways. The facade features a central two-light mullion window and chamfered corners that match the adjacent coach-house. The storehouse is linked to L-plan cow-stalls, which partly retain a stone slate roof. The king post trusses in the roof are notable features, and the cow-stalls are included for their group value with the storehouse.
