Description

Pike Cottage is a 17th-century cottage, although it has been restored in the 20th century with some replacement details. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble with a thatched roof. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. It features three-light stone mullioned casements, with drip moulds above the ground-floor windows, and the thatch is shaped into an eyebrow over the windows. A modern door is set within a projecting porch on the left side, and a single-storey, one-window extension adjoins the porch. The building is described as being very picturesque.
