Description
This chest tomb, located 20 yards northeast of the Church of St Mary, was constructed around 1924, likely by E Guy Dawber. It is made of Portland stone ashlar and features a Baroque style. The tomb is richly carved and panelled, adorned with scroll balusters and carved putti, reminiscent of the Bryan tombs at Painswick. It commemorates Mary Sophia Fenwick, who died in 1924, and Mark Fenwick, who died in 1945.
