Description
Norton Grounds Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that features 19th and 20th-century extensions which are not of listable quality. The building is constructed from large blocks of coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a limestone slate roof that has flat coping and roll cross saddles. It stands two storeys high with a cellar underneath and an attic above. The facade includes two windows, featuring two and three-light stone mullioned casements, as well as one three-light mullioned and transomed light. All windows have stepped hoods and are fitted with 20th-century wooden casements that have horizontal glazing bars. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed front door, which is sheltered by a wooden porch.
