Description

Church Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the mid- to late 17th century, with later extensions to the rear. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, with the left gable end rendered. The roof is covered in stone slates and features 20th-century stone stacks. The building has a rectangular plan with two single-storey extensions. The upper floor is lit by stone mullioned casements with stopped hoods; one window is a 2-light design, and the other a 3-light design. A 2-light steel casement has replaced a former 2-light stone-mullioned casement on the far left. The ground floor has two 2-light and one 3-light steel casements, all retaining their stopped hoods. Access is provided through a lean-to at the rear, between the single-storey extensions. Flat coping stones are visible at the gable ends. The interior has not been inspected.
