Description

Milestone located on the A424 in Westcote, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is made of limestone and features a cast-iron plaque. The stone is eroded and has a formerly segmental-headed shape. The rectangular inscription plaque displays the following text: 'Burford / 6 / to Stow / 4'.
