Description

This is a house dating from the mid to late 17th century, located on Gumstool Hill in Tetbury. It is constructed of rubble stone with a Cotswold stone slate roof to the front and tile to the left side. The building has two rendered gable stacks on the left. It is a long range with a gable facing the street and two cross gables. The house is three storeys high and has two windows on the front elevation, which are renewed 12-pane sash windows with moulded wooden architraves and concrete lintels. The ground floor also has two similar windows, and a doorway to the right, featuring a deep panelled reveal and a four-panel bolection-moulded door. A wide 20th-century metal window has been inserted in the gable, set beneath the original square hood mould.
