Description

This is a late 17th and early 18th century house located in Cirencester. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a stone slate roof. The building has two small gables facing the front, and a single storey with an attic. The rear features two stone stacks on gablets, with the upper parts rebuilt in brick, and the one on the right side now truncated. The front elevation has a five-window range. Five two-light timber casement windows with exposed timber lintels are visible on the ground floor, and two similar windows are in the gables above. A 20th-century plank door sits within a 20th-century porch extension on the left side of the front. The interior has not been inspected. A portion of the house is built into the Hospital of St John, located to the right.
