Description
The walls to the terrace on the west side of Campden House were built around 1846, possibly designed by R C Carpenter and later remodelled by Norman Jewson. They are constructed from ashlar and rubble, featuring moulded capping. The retaining walls on both the east and west sides of the terrace have buttresses. The northern return includes pinnacles on the piers and a stone garden seat. There is a pierced parapet on the west side, adorned with cut-sphere-type finials. Stone steps lead down from the terrace, flanked by large garden urns on the east wall below the porch.
