Description
The gazebo, built around 1934 by Norman Jewson, is located to the south-west of Campden House and is linked by a retaining wall. It features a cross-gabled design with a mullion and transomed window, and each face has a pigeon-loft. The gazebo is adorned with pinnacles at the verges and circular chimneys on the south gable. Constructed from ashlar, it sits on the corner of a retained terrace where R C Carpenter previously built a domestic range that has since been demolished. The retaining wall to the north connects to Campden House and stands approximately 7 to 10 feet high, made from rubble and buttressed. There is a door at the north end in a short return to the south-west corner of the house.
