Description
This balustraded terrace wall and steps, located about 10 yards southeast of Eyford Park, was built around 1920. It features stone balusters with moulded dies and coping. The structure includes two sets of stairs, one centrally located and one to the left, leading down to a lower level. The terrace spans the full width of the house, extending one bay to the right and three bays to the left. At the west end, the terrace returns and extends to form a retaining wall for the upper garden, which includes a bowed exedra in the center designed for a fountain. This feature is likely part of the layout designed by Dawber.
