Description

The K6 telephone kiosk, located at the center of the village, was designed in 1935 by Giles Gilbert Scott. It is made of cast iron and has a square shape with a shallow domed roof. The sides and door feature margin glazing bars. Above the four arched sides, there is a canopy dome, and each side has an unperforated crown over a glazed panel inscribed with the word "TELEPHONE." This kiosk is part of a notable group that includes the Grade I listed Church of St Margaret and other listed buildings, making it a significant feature in a heritage location.
