Description
A row of five headstones is located in the churchyard of the Church of St John the Baptist, approximately 2 meters south-west of the David Ansell monument. These monuments date from the mid to late 18th century and are made of limestone. Each headstone features a segmental top, with four of them adorned with winged cherubs' heads and various floral or foliate scrollwork decorations in bold relief. The central headstone has a simpler design, showcasing simplified foliate scrollwork in shallow relief at the top. The inscriptions on all the headstones are either illegible or partially illegible.
