Description
Dornhill is a farmhouse built in the mid-19th century, designed in the style of a lodge for the Batsford Estate. It is one storey with an attic and constructed from rubble, topped with a concrete tile roof. The building has an L-shaped ridge and features a large central stack with a group of four diagonally-set shafts. On either side of the gabled porch, which has bracketing in the Batsford Estate style, there are two 2-light mullion windows. At the rear, there is a Tudor-arched doorway leading to an extension that is obscured by a later lean-to.
