Description

This is an 18th-century chest tomb located in the churchyard approximately 10 meters south west of the Church of St. Michael in Brimpsfield. It is made of limestone and features Rococo lyre-ends, with a cherub at one end. The sides of the tomb have rectangular fielded inscription panels that are flanked by ribbon bows, although the inscription is illegible. The top of the tomb has a deep cyma moulded design.
