Description

This is a medieval plinth for a cross shaft located in the churchyard of the Church of St Peter, approximately 6 metres south of the nave. Made of limestone, it consists of a single square block with the upper corners cut away. There is a square hole in the center that was used for the cross shaft. The plinth is positioned beside the path leading to the south porch.
