Description

These are a pair of gate piers located at Number 61 on St Stephen's Road in Cheltenham, dating from around 1840 to 1860. They are made of stucco over brick and are square in shape, standing approximately 2 meters high. The piers feature chamfered plinths, with shafts that have round-arched sunk panels. Additionally, they include a frieze, cornice, and peaked caps. These gate piers contribute significantly to the streetscape.
