Description
This is a house dating from approximately 1810 to 1830, with later additions and alterations, including a shop front added in the 1980s. The front is stuccoed over brickwork, with a hidden roof and brick stacks at the ends. The building has a double-depth plan.
The exterior is four storeys high and has two windows on the first floor. Stucco detailing includes three wide pilasters with incised decoration at the first-floor level, topped by fluted Doric pilasters. There are horizontally rusticated pilasters between the first-floor pilasters, also surmounted by an elliptical arch. Moulded sill bands are present on the second and third floors, and incised architraves and a segmental cornice define the second-floor windows. A further architrave, frieze with wreaths, and cornice are also present. The windows are mostly 8/8 sashes, except those on the ground floor, and those on the first floor have moulded architraves.
The interior has not been inspected.
