Description
The stable and attached wall located at the rear of Number 32 was built around 1840 to 1845. The street-facing facade is made of stucco over brick, while the rest is constructed from brick and topped with a slate roof. This single-storey structure features three bays, with the outer bays projecting forward and having gabled roofs. In the center, there is a blind, three-light round-arched arcade with a continuous sill supported by feet and a continuous moulding at the top. Each end has a single round-arched recess with a tooled head on imposts and a keystone, set within a rectangular recess. The entrance facade includes two double plank doors and board pitching doors at the gable ends, along with a blind opening in the upper stage at the center. There is a coped wall adjoining the stable, measuring approximately 3 meters by 2.5 meters high, which features a plank door. This stable is part of a notably intact grouping that includes a coach house and a complete and distinguished villa, facing Albert Road.
