Description
This is a villa dating from approximately the 1840s to the 1860s. Built with a brick core and stucco exterior, it has a hipped slate roof and brick stacks, the one on the right being particularly tall with a prominent cornice. An iron balcony is also present.
The villa is two storeys high, with a basement, and features three windows on the first floor. The stucco detailing includes a band separating the floors, a continuous moulded sill band, and decorative architraves to the windows. Ground-floor windows have cornices supported by console brackets and blocking courses, while the first-floor windows are round-arched, eared, and have keystones. A crowning cornice and wide eaves with modillions complete the exterior. The windows are predominantly 2/2 sashed, with the first-floor windows being round-arched.
The entrance, on the left side, is accessed by a flight of steps leading to a doorcase with pilasters and ornate corbels, topped by a cornice and blocking course. The door itself is a four-panelled design with a fanlight above. The ground floor features an embellished balcony supported by piers. The villa presents a complete and well-detailed stucco facade with attractive ironwork. The interior has not been inspected.
