Description

The Grange is a villa, dating to the 1830s, which has been converted into four separate dwellings. The exterior is stucco over brick, concealing a roof with a tall stack on the left side. It has two storeys and five first-floor windows arranged in a 1:3:1 pattern. Stucco detailing includes a band above the ground floor, a frieze, and a cornice. The central three windows project slightly forward. The ground floor features two 8/8 sash windows and a French window at the centre, with mainly 6/6 sash windows elsewhere. The ground-floor windows are taller, and fitted with external louvred shutters with shutter latches. A 20th-century canted bay window has been added to the right at ground level. A glazed 20th-century porch is located to the left, at an angle. A further entrance, with a 20th-century panelled door, is on the right return. The interior was not inspected.
