Description
Hampton House is a detached house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick that is covered with incised render and has a slate roof with a rendered brick chimney stack. The building has a rectangular main body with later extensions added to the north gable end.
The house is two stories high and features a three-windowed facade, which is lit by 16-pane sash windows, one of which is blind. There is an early 19th-century door with six flush panels located on the far left, set within a gabled open-sided wrought iron porch. The gable end facing the main road has two 16-pane sashes, three blind windows, and a double glass door with glazing bars. Plain pilasters flank each of the three bays on this end. An off-the-ridge stack is present. The interior has not been inspected.
