Description

This is a table tomb dated 1623, located about 7 meters southeast of the porch of the Church of St Peter. It features a thick granite table top supported by plain rectangular granite piers and capitals. The sides of the table top are intricately carved with scrollwork and skulls in relief, and the date is inscribed on both sides. On the top, there are two large coats of arms in high relief, framed by cartouches, situated between a central depression that likely once held a slate inscription panel. The tomb is noted for its unusual design and high quality of craftsmanship.
