Description
The building is a stable block, now used as a garage, located 2 metres north-west of Bush House. It likely dates from the 18th century and is constructed of plastered cob on stone rubble footings, topped with a thatch roof. The stable block faces the end of Bush House to the southeast. It features a small door to the right of the front and a 20th-century garage door at the left (south-west) end. The roof is half-hipped on the right side and hipped on the left. Inside, the space is open to a roof supported by A-frame trusses with pegged lap-jointed collars. This stable/garage, along with other thatched farm buildings associated with Bush House, creates an attractive group in the village.
