Description

This barn, located approximately 15 meters west-northwest of Knowle Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It features local stone rubble walls and a gable-ended corrugated iron roof. The barn has a long rectangular shape with a central threshing floor. To the left of the entrance to the threshing floor is a pig-sty, and to the right is a shippon, which includes a doorway at its left end. The shippon has had later buildings constructed in front of it. Inside, there are bolted roof timbers from the 19th century.
