Description

75 West Street is a building from the early to mid-19th century. It has two storeys and attics with a gable, featuring two windows. The ground floor is elevated above pavement level because the house is built on an outcrop of rock. The upper storey is covered in slate and is supported by east iron columns. The tall casement windows enhance its appearance. The ground floor is recessed, and the right-hand doorway is accessed by steps that have a cast iron balustrade with an anthemion design and a ramped handrail. The doorcase includes panelled reveals and a rectangular fanlight.
