Description

The churchyard gate piers located to the south of the Church of St Lawrence were likely built in 1881 by J. F. Gould, around the same time the church was being rebuilt. These gate piers are made of square rubble with chamfered edges, topped with dressed stones that form a conical cap. The wrought iron gates are probably from the same period as the piers.
